Okhi cyclone continues to disrupt the life of people in different parts of the country. People appear to be weaker than the cyclone. According to the Meteorological Department, till Wednesday morning, it can put more trouble on Gujarat after Mumbai. After the morning, it will become extinct in the form of depression near the Gulf of Surat and Khambat in Gujarat.
A devastated cyclone in south India has claimed more than 20 people in Kerala and Tamil Nadu and hundreds are missing in the rescue operation. As a precautionary measure, schools have been closed in Mumbai and neighboring areas.
As soon as cyclone will reach near the Mumbail, the BMC has alerted the police, fire brigade, coast guard, NDRF and the Navy forces for rescue work till December 7, during which the Shivaji Park and Cadill Road of Dadar closed are supposed to. BMC has made a high alert on December 6, because millions of people will be gathered at Shivaji Park to honor Dr. BR Ambedkar on his 62nd Mahaparinavivavn Divas.

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has asked the fishermen in both the eastern and western regions to not enter in the sea for the next three days as there is a possibility of heavy rains in many areas due to cyclone-Okhi.
