Wifi network with WPA2 is compromised

This attack is known as KRACK (Key Re-establishment Aacks). An attacker within the victim's range could use key replacement attacks (KRACK) of these major shortcomings.
In addition to sniffing traffic, it is also possible to inject and manipulate data to insert malware. The attack works against all modern protected Wi-Fi networks.
Since weaknesses are only in the Wi-Fi standard, and not in different products or in its implementation and therefore the device with proper WPA2 implementation may also be affected.

During the initial research, researchers noticed that Android, Linux, Apple, Windows, Open BSD, MediaTek, Linux and all other attacks are affected by some types of attacks.

In addition, researchers suggested that approximately 41 percent of Android devices are vulnerable to the "exceptionally destructive" version of the attack.

Microsoft has provided patches for affected products and it has been suggested to update your system. Apple also said that "Apple has confirmed that it is a fix for beta in iOS, MacDo, WatchOS and TVOS, and it will be rolling in a software update for a few weeks." According to media reports, many major vendors are coming with updates as well, which include Google

In order to avoid the attack, users must update security updates (wireless clients and) as soon as security updates are available. At this time better solution is to use LAN instead of WIFI and WiFi will not be used in public places until the device is set up.
